In the past, a procession used to take place across the village on the last day of the month, to push it away and advocating the gradual return of the good season.

She spent all her life living in a masseria, few hundred meters from where she is now.

This is a tradition dating back centuries, which is rooted in the traditional rituals connected with fire, which are very common in the Italian inland between Christmas holidays and January.

Vastogirardi (IS), Italy - July 2017. During the historical “flight of the angel”, a tradition dating back to 1911. This is a historical representation of the Annunciation, which takes place on July 1st and 2nd. The angel is interpreted strictly by a girl between 4 and 6 years old.

Atessa (CH), Italy - June 2016, Colle Flocco. An old lady looks out of her house to pray the image of the Madonna of the Miracles, during the 60 km pilgrimage from Borrello to Casalbondino, Miracoli. It is strictly linked to the a miraculous apparition of the Madonna on 11 June 1576 to a peasant after a terrible hailstorm. The Virgin Mary told him his field was spared since he had prayed. Every year the sanctuary is transformed in a destination of pilgrims coming from Abruzzo and Molise regions.

He studies agrarian sciences and breeding and takes care of the family terrains, with the perspective of starting there an educational farm.
